Yasmin
A solo dance theatre work-in-progress. Yasmin is an intimate, poetic solo performance that explores the moral complexity of assisted dying through the story of a Chinese woman in an interfaith marriage. Facing terminal illness, Yasmin considers a final act of agency — a decision that may offer peace, but risks spiritual consequences and emotional rupture with her Muslim husband. Rooted in love, loss, and the search for dignity, the piece asks: What do we owe to those we love, and to ourselves, at the end of life?
The Other Shore
A work-in-progress in collaboration with Will Edelson. A poignant duet of dance/movement and memory, tracing the enduring bond between a brother and sister divided by war. When Khan returns from the frontlines to find his home in ruins and Maya gone, grief takes the shape of movement, and memory becomes a presence that walks beside him. Through monologue, naturalistic dialogue, and poetic physicality, he journeys across a fractured world toward the distant shore his sister once believed in. An invocation of loss, resilience, and love that refuses to fade.

A 60 minutes dance theatre piece exploring the final days of the last shaman of the Lotud tribe in Sabah, Malaysia. Rooted in oral tradition and ritual dance, the story follows a dying priestess who witnesses her own funeral rites. Her spirit hovers between the mortal world and the mystic peaks of Mount Kinabalu, torn between surrendering to death or staying to preserve her fading culture. Through dance, memory, and song, she relives her life—caught between her converted family and her ancestral faith. Can she keep her traditions alive, or is extinction the final offering to the mountain?
