"What if this is our last chance..."
SyZyGy
2016
Synopsis
SyZyGy* is a full-length contemporary dance performance (60 minutes, no intermission) choreographed by Tang Sook Kuan. Inspired by the earthquake that struck Ranau on 5th June 2015, the piece delves into the profound and often fragile relationship between humans and the natural world. Through evocative movement and storytelling, the choreography explores not only this interconnection but also contemplates the human experience in the absence of a natural environment. The performance features ten talented local dancers, alongside guest artist Kenneth Tan Ting Feng, a renowned young choreographer from Singapore.
