Synopsis

                                                                                                                                                        Then, you were the weight I couldn't bear;                                                                                                                      Now, you are the bond I cannot break;                                                                                                                            And one day, we will be the longing that eternally lives within our hearts.

A 30 minutes dance theatre performance, part of "A Dance Theatre Double Bill Production 2024". 

Inspired by Sook Kuan and Xue Li's personal journey, this dance theatre work explores the complex, tender and at times challenging moments shared between a mother and daughter as they navigate the passage of time. It depicts their evolving relationship—a delicate balance of interdependence and personal growth. Through their intertwined paths, both are shaped by the push and pull of love and the quest for individuality. The work reflects the emotional depth and enduring bond that remains, no matter the distance or change.

昨日，妳是挥之不去的羁绊；                                                                                                                                             今日，妳是无可替代的陪伴；                                                                                                                                             而明日，妳我将化作今生唯一的牵伴。                                                              

《牵伴》灵感源自淑君和雪莉的个人经历，探索母女关系中既温柔又艰难的时刻，描绘她们在时间的流转中所经历的挑战与成长，如何在相互依赖与个人独立之间寻找到平衡。通过这段紧密相连的关系，母女俩在爱与牺牲、独立与相伴之间不断拉锯，最终孕育出一种独特且深沉的情感联接，成为永恒的牵伴。
